I've been kind of happy about Roomie #1, who the other night talked to me and then when I suggested we go out for a rented video, she changed clothes to come out with me. And when she and Roomie #2 were out yesterday and decided to get dinner, she called to see if I wanted to come.

Signs of happiness, getting up and out in the world.

Just realized why - duh, since it was one of the things we talked about the other day... she's been talking to her ex and they are meeting today. Just as friends, but I bet that's where the energy is coming from. This wanting to get out and do stuff and live life. And she just dressed up and made herself up for this friendly outing, and wanted to look good enough for him since she has gained weight since they used to date, but she's been dieting and maybe it's been working a little - I can't tell but it would help explain her uppiness.

So yes, our internal moods are affected by external circumstances. If there's a chance at romance, then you become sexier from the inside. Your have more energy, more desire to leave the bed, and more desire to dress flatteringly, smiles rise out of you, you can take care of other people's feelings

unfortunately these are usually the qualities necessary to have before people will fall in love with you.
